🗝️ The Senses of Chernihiv, or How to Explore Its Treasures in Two Days
For us, Chernihiv became a meeting with history, people, and meanings.
We started with the majestic Transfiguration Cathedral, where we met with the leadership of the Chernihiv Main Police Department, the “@heritage.907” team, the leadership of the “Ancient Chernihiv” reserve, and representatives of the juvenile police.
🧠 And also philosophers — with deep questions.
They told us who we are, what mission we carry, and why we came here — to the city of legends and traditions.
Then we moved deeper into history:
🏰 Dytynets — an ancient center of power and culture.
🕳️ Anthony's Caves — an atmosphere of silence, prayer, and ancient spiritual practices.
📜 The Collegium — one of the first places of education for monks, where we conducted a reflection.
⛪ St. Catherine's Church - restrained and elegant during the day, and a fabulous lamp of the city at night.
🌊 Desna - a river that has been a trade and defense route for centuries, paper boats with wishes launched into the future.
🚔 Police Training Center - practice, interaction and trust.
⚙️ Electric power generation @baykabikes - where technological solutions of the future are created.
⚽ Football club @fc.chernihiv - which shapes the city's sports culture and inspires young people with its own example.
Chernihiv is a city where history meets the future, and tradition - with thought, dialogue and development.
And now we are going to Zaporizhia with a bunch of emotions and a ready-made issue about Chernihiv... but more on that later
