Discovering Kyiv
✨🏛️ Continuing our search for the treasures of Ukraine — this time, our journey led us to Kyiv 🇺🇦
Our introduction to the capital began with a deep dive into its historical heritage: participants of the Baida Youth Movement visited the Omeljan Pritsak Archives 📚 — a unique space preserving valuable sources of Ukrainian scholarship and history.
🎼 Next, they visited the National Philharmonic of Ukraine. A particularly memorable experience was going behind the scenes and observing a concert rehearsal, where the timeless works of Beethoven were brought to life. It was a rare opportunity to feel the living atmosphere of great art.
⛪️ The next stage of the journey was an экскурsion to the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra and the Near Caves — a place of spiritual strength and centuries-old history that leaves a profound impression and reveals new dimensions of Ukraine’s cultural heritage.
🏰 The penultimate destination was Saint Sophia of Kyiv, an outstanding landmark that symbolizes Ukraine’s statehood, culture, and historical continuity.
💭 The day concluded with a reflection session together with philosophers Andrii Melnyk and Oleksandr Filonenko. Participants had the opportunity to reflect on what they had seen, share their impressions, and develop a deeper understanding of the experiences they had gained.
🔥 This day became an important part of the educational journey “Treasures of Kyiv,” which continues to open new horizons for discovering and understanding Ukraine.
